For new or very small nonprofits, our goal is to make sure cost is never a barrier. Some of our entry level services, such as fundraising coaching or grant readiness consultations, are free. Others are provided at a significantly reduced rate. We often begin by helping you raise the funds you need for future planning and growth, whether through a Giving Tuesday campaign, a small general operating grant, or a local community fundraiser. As your organization grows, we help you build the systems and confidence to apply for larger funding and take on more complex projects that expand your impact.
If your organization already has programs in place and some funding history, we can help you take the next step toward sustainability. Many of our consulting services for developing nonprofits are provided at a lower cost, and even free of charge, and we will work with you to identify unrestricted funding that can support continued capacity building, such as operating grants or targeted fundraising campaigns. Our partnership often begins with helping you raise the very funds that make this work possible. Together, we will strengthen your leadership, systems, and strategy so your organization is well positioned for long term success.
For larger or well established organizations, our work often focuses on helping you secure flexible, unrestricted funds that allow for deeper strategic planning, innovation, and staff development. These services are billed at standard rates, but in many cases, we help identify and pursue grants or donor partnerships that can cover our costs. We specialize in crafting strong general operating proposals and capacity building requests that support complex, forward thinking initiatives. Our goal is to ensure that the investment you make in consulting directly fuels your organization’s ability to plan, grow, and collaborate regionally.
Through existing relationships with multiple local and regional foundations, RAP can facilitate access to Technical Assistance grants that can fully or partially cover the cost of our services. These grants are competitive, however, we have a strong record of success in helping clients obtain them. We help you communicate your goals to the potential grantor in advance to ensure the best possible chance of success. Technical Assistance funds often make it possible for small and mid sized nonprofits to receive professional planning, mentoring, training, and long-term development support at no or very low cost. While not guaranteed, these grants represent an important opportunity to strengthen your organization’s capacity with minimal financial burden.
